Corné van Garderen, CEO and founder of Sempergreen Group, is a grower in heart and soul. He started growing Sedum at his father’s nursery in 1996. This soon proved a success and before long Sempergreen supplied the first green roofs, ground covers and associated systems. Not long after, in 1998, the company started growing vertical gardens and supplying sustainable green wall systems: the SemperGreenwalls.
Over the past 27 years, Sempergreen has grown into an organisation that aims to improve quality of life for people and animals through innovations in sustainable and circular construction. We supply quality products worldwide and, in doing so, make the world a little greener every day.
Since its founding, Sempergreen has combined a love of nature with a healthy dose of entrepreneurship. All products are extensively tested by the Product Development & Innovation department, allowing us to offer pioneering products that make life in the city a lot greener and more pleasant for current and future generations.
In addition to quality, Sempergreen has a strong focus on sustainability and safety. Our SemperGreenwall products have obtained Cradle-to-Cradle certification and a European fire safety classifications of B-s2,d0 and A2-s2,d0. Our ambitions do not end there, however. Sempergreen is constantly innovating by improving the sustainability and safety of its products.
